Diane Samuels’ play tells the story of 9-year-old Eva, sent to England to escape the Holocaust, who tries to remain true to her German Jewish heritage, and the adult Evelyn who has put the past behind her and become “English.” A moving story of family, the transition from past to present, and love between mothers and daughters.
