Mincz to the music of Patsy Cline. Two
works by Exit Dance Theatre of Newburyport, choreographed
by Fontaine
Dubus and Tricia Walsh. The North
Shore Civic Ballet, from Marblehead, will perform Can I
Steal a Minute? choreographed by Ivan Korn.
Korn will also present
Finis Terrae, performed by his own company, Zoe. Sallee
Slagle, director of 40
Steps from
Nahant, will perform one of her own introspective
solos.

Enjoy a taste of Middle Eastern, Turkish, and Indian music, including a variety of traditional and classical pieces as well as some of Okbari's original tunes. Okbari is Amos Libby and Eric LaPerna. They will accompany belly dancers Jamileh and Kalilah. Jamileh is an exquisite dancer and beloved teacher. Kalilah is one of her lovely and talented students. Please feel free to stay after the performances for some questions and discussion with Okbari, Jamileh, and Kalilah.
